Sand Dollar Cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests with a bedding configuration as follows:

After our six hour in-depth cleaning of your home, we complete a 35 point property inspection to ensure that you feel tremendously safe and happy with this amazing home. Our goal is to have you feel like you are walking into a brand new vacation home that no one has ever stayed at before!

"This place is truly a winner. I rented one of their cottages for the month of February. The weather was perfect everyday. I had my three children and some of my grandchildren come to visit and they also loved it. The young ones loved the fishing and caught plenty of fish. I can't say enough about how perfect this vacation was for all of us.

"This is a beautiful home! The management company was so kind. There was a plumbing issue on Thanksgiving and it was taken care of almost immediately. Also, they brought us a pie for Thanksgiving and left a bottle of wine and cupcakes in the fridge as they were aware we were celebrating an anniversary.

"The team at Cottages on the Key was great. Immediately responded to my questions during the booking process and checked in on us while we were on the island. I will add that the house is in a good location. We walked to the beach for sunsets and the Drum Circle on Sunday. We also rode the trolley to town and back which was fun. The interactive screen was so cool. I enjoyed checking it every day. And the cupcakes were such a nice touch. We have rented in the Anna Maria/Holmes Beach area for years from the same real estate company and never received the service we received from your team. If the weather had cooperated a bit more, we would probably have booked a fishing charter or another service offered by the concierges. We also enjoyed the brand new grill (it was really nice). The house was beautiful. This was our first time staying on Siesta Key. We totally enjoyed the quiet, had fun fishing from the dock and even tried the bikes one day. We were grateful for the use of the bait bucket so we didn't have to buy one. Pool was great as well. I think my only negative comments regarding the house would be the screen door needs a catch so it doesn't slam every time you walk out, the shower door in the master bedroom needs a stopper of some sort so it doesn't swing in/out, the two missing knobs on the stove should be replaced and a Keurig machine would be a nice touch. The microwave was a bit convoluted to use. We also couldn't figure out how to lock the front door on departure so we locked it and scooted out the closing garage door.

Great vacation home

"Great home on Siesta Key. Heated pool with plenty of lounging chairs, large frontage on canal for fishing, a nice lift for a boat or pontoon, and a large screened in lanai with an outdoor dining table and comfortable furniture for relaxing in the evenings. The house came with 4 bikes, bike locks & helmets, 2 kayaks, life jackets, lots of comfortable beach chairs, towels, sand toys, umbrella, cooler & wagon to haul it all. Everything you need for fun in the sun. The management was great, very helpful prior to and during our stay, and connected us with great local services for fishing trips, grocery delivery, paddle board rentals & pontoon rentals. The house & kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable with nice bedding. Exactly .75 miles to beach parking made for easy walking or biking to the amazing beach. Only downsides were that it could use a little updating in the bathrooms & kitchen, and it was far enough away from restaurants to require a short drive in the car, but all of the other points about this property far outweigh and we will return if we are ever back on Siesta Key.

"We rented sand dollar cottage for 3 weeks the house was exactly as stated with everything that we needed for a great time, from the cyles to the kayaks.On arrival the lights were on, music playing and personalised cup cakes in the fridge, what a perfect touch from a perfect rental agency, We cant thank cottages on the key enough from fixing a couple of minor issues very quickly, to taking out and bringing in our trash every week to paying us a visit with a bottle of wine. I have been renting houses in Florida for 12 years some from other agencies and some direct, i have to say that cottages on the key were by far the best and i would highly recommend them to everyone, they are certainly my only choice should we visit Siesta key again. Many thanks.

"We felt so lucky to have received Kenneth as our booking agent and contact person from The Cottages. In our eyes, Ken went above and beyond to ensure our utmost satisfaction during our stay. Kenneth was so easy for us to get hold of, if/when we needed his attention before, during and after our stay. We loved the house that we rented in Siesta Key. It was absolutely beautiful and located on a canal. Quite honestly, though, it was Kenneth’s attitude and demeanor that will stay in our minds as we pursue further vacations using only The Cottages on Siesta Key, Inc. We can’t thank Ken enough for all of the extra touches that made us feel so comfortable during our stay.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. The home was nice and clean upon arrival, and was very comfortable for the duration of our stay. We would definitely give it a 5. We enjoyed being in Siesta Key, as we have family in Sarasota, so we were able to visit a lot with them. Much nicer than being in Cape Coral, where we usually rent. All in all, we would return to this home again, if it were available for our next visit.

Sand Dollar Cottage

"We had a wonderful time in Siesta and your property “Sand Dollar Cottage” was fantastic. It had everything a vacationer could need from bikes to towels, to the well-equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the covered Florida room and spent hours watching the fish jump and the wildlife go by. In the evening the lights across the canal lit up and the crickets chirped to give a very atmospheric feeling. We have stayed at many vacation rentals in many locations and this property was up there with the best. Everything had been thought of and it was so comfortable. It was even better when we had a boat delivered to the houses dock and we could explore the canals. Perfect. Cottages on the Key were a very attentive company and you could tell they were a professional outfit with all angles covered and more success coming their way. We would recommend Sand Dollar Cottage and Cottages on the key to anyone and we certainly will be passing the details to close friends. Thank you again and we look forward to another visit in the future.
