We go above and beyond the industry standard for cleanings with our multi-tiered cleaning protocol within our CottageClean Program. After our six hour in-depth cleaning of your home, we complete a 35 point property inspection to ensure that you feel tremendously safe and happy with this amazing home. This allows you to vacation worry free regarding the cleanliness of your home and truly relax as soon as you arrive. Our goal is to have you feel like you are walking into a brand new vacation home that no one has ever stayed at before!

"Six adults stayed in this property comfortably. We wanted to get away from winter. Heated pool, two main bedrooms, short walk to beach and all beach accessories. The trolleys and Frog Hops to the Village were free (tips only) and fun. No worries about driving. Hope to visit again!

Perfect Location

"This was the perfect place in Siesta Key. It's just a short walk to the beach- next to the Point of Rocks, and a short walk to many plazas if you wanted to spend an evening out. The pool area is so nice too, if you want to relax.

Convenient, clean and easy beach access

"The house was very nice with a good layout for a larger family. Larger than it looks with plenty of room. Nice, large grill, great pool area. 3-4 min walk to beach access. Very close to Midnight Pass and stores, restaurants etc. Hosts were excellent, responded quickly to questions and communication.

The Pool Was Lovely and Warm

"So well designed and decorated. The pool was lovely and warm. The staff is nice to work with and responsive. They even dropped off a key lime pie and a sweet note for Thanksgiving. The only drawbacks are that one bedroom shares a wall and a window onto the pool with the other side. So, when kids are up early - so are you! Next to Midnight Pass road. We worried about road noise but that wasn't a problem.

"We rented Casita Sun Star 1135 from April 10-17. We were very impressed with everything about this unit. You have thought of everything! The kitchen had every piece of equipment that we could have every wanted. The beds were awesome. Each of us had out own bathroom. The private pool was wonderful. The beach chairs, cart etc made our time at the beach so easy. We will definitely recommend you to others and hopefully we will be back!

"The Cottages on the Key were so great. The house was clean, plenty of towels and extra linens. Plenty of beach toys, chairs and bikes. I will always recommend them to my family and friends who stay and we will for sure be back to rent!! (Secretly wish I could give more stars than 5).

"Our family stayed at Casita Sun Star to celebrate my birthday in early October. We were a family of 6, including 4 adults (myself, husband, mother & teen) + 2 toddlers. The home is nicely decorated, bright and airy with a comfortable beach cottage feel. There was plenty of room to spread out for the six of us plus we had 2 family members over for dinner and no one felt too tight.

"From the moment we walked into Casita Sun Star, my family and I felt extremely welcomed and we sensed we were going to have a great stay, and indeed we did. We were very much surprised and pleased by how well decorated, extremely clean and accommodating your property was. The small details of a welcoming cupcake box to all the available beach bikes, towels and coolers went a long way. I would definitely recommend this awesome place and will stay over again.

"We loved the ease of finding the property. Parking was nice, although we would have preferred a gate to our side of the house for privacy and security. A bit disappointing that the house was located on the main road - a bit noisy - the reason for not giving 5 stars. A pretty wall surrounded the pool, however, and the landscaping was lovely. Everything we needed for the beach was there which was fantastic. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than we anticipated - we should have checked since we are senior women. We didn't have enough paper products to get us through our stay, which has not been our experience from previous rentals. We had to call the management company to get a new umbrella for the pool, but the response was quick - he couldn't fix it and brought us a lovely new one! We loved the yummy cupcakes that welcomed us, as well as a bottle of wine brought to us on our first full day from the management company - a personal visit was appreciated. We loved Siesta Key - ate in the Village one night and lunched at a marina restaurant nearby another day. We probably won't be back because we like to try new locations each year, but would recommend this to others. The house is just as pictured - lovely.

The Cottages on the Key

"It was very nicely decorated very beachy. The house very clean upon arrival. The cupcakes were a very nice touch. The only issue we had was we are all Seniors and getting in and out of the pool without a railing was very difficult. The first step is very deep. That would be the only reason we will not be able to return. The shed was well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Amazing two weeks

"We spent an amazing two weeks at Casita Sun Star, April 21st to May 5th. As part of a group of six we found our accommodations and the service top notch. The house was in a perfect location. Close to shopping and a five minute stroll from the beach. Although on a fairly busy street we felt we had the most privacy with sunshine all day and the private pool is a huge bonus. Didn't see any other property on Crescent St that I would have preferred. Any minor wants or needs within the cottage were quickly taken care of in response to our emails. Simple things....more dish cloths, hand towels and steak knives. Even a cookie sheet delivered on request. Dennis popped by daily to check on us and took care of us really well. For example..we are early risers, sometimes up before daylight enjoying coffee by the pool. The sprinkler system would cut in about 6:15 AM and smelled really awful. Ruined a few mornings. When we mentioned it to Dennis it was retimed to come on during the night. Not sure if it was part of his job but he saw it done. We couldn't find the pool light and he took care of it as well. The maintenance guy, the pool people and the gardeners. All lovely people, friendly and doing an amazing job! I would definitely like to return to Casita Sun Star and will have no problem recommending it to friends. Our last 8 vacations have been all inclusive and this was our first visit to Florida. Casita Sun Star makes us want to go back! Wonderful accommodations, great location and perfect weather. A small part of me wished that the pool was screened in during the last week. For 2-3 hours in the afternoon the love bugs and those other flys were a pain. But that's nature! I will be writing a review on TripAdvisor as I do with most of my vacations. I hope to return.

"Our party of 6 loved the location and accommodations. Pool area was great, with less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only draw back was that we didn’t realize this was a twin single and the pools are right next to each other, they could use more plants for privacy from the neighbors, who with the common wall from being a twin single we could hear when they were partying pretty loud at night! Would book again tho

"Our stay was absolutely perfect! We grew up in Florida and come back every year. This has been our best rental by far. The space fit our family perfectly. So many things to glorify: the memory foam beds including the pull out sofa (a bonus for adults), spacious kitchen and dinning area, outdoor dinning space, shed with beach accessories, private pool, washer and dryer, and the welcome cupcakes put it over the top. Your staff was very helpful with any questions or concerns during our stay. I emailed asking where to put the trash cans after they have been emptied and someone came to put them away. You exceeded my expectations. We will be using The Cottages on the Key from now on. Areas for Improvement: Hmmm.... maybe a pamphlet with the wifi password so no one will bother the person that booked the rental while she is floating in the pool. Better yet, a framed picture saying "you don't need the wifi password. You're on vacation." Really, maybe some information on proper food storage. I noticed sugar ants when we arrived. Also, the carefully placed pest control. I know how to keep those suckers at bay, but I can imagine a loosely rolled chip bag putting some northerners into a panic. Wonderful stay - surpassed our expectations

"Our family of five just returned from a 1 week stay at Casita Sun Star. The home is beautiful - we were told that this unit, and the adjoining, one were completely remodeled this summer. It is just as pictured on the website. The place is well stocked, with very comfortable beds, bath and beach towels, a variety of kitchen tools - even a filled spice rack. There are also bikes, beach chairs and a rolling beach caddy, which were very helpful. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk from here (10 minutes with kids and beach gear). We didn't get a chance to ride the free island trolley, but it can be caught just in front of the house. Just as impressive as the home, the level of service from the people at The Cottages on Key was wonderful. We notified them in advance that we would be arriving late on our first day; they sent detailed entry instructions, and left lights on at the house to assist us.The welcome gift of gourmet cupcakes was a nice touch. When we had trouble connecting to the WIFI and left a phone message, the office responded within an hour and resolved the problem, and also sent someone out to check on the equipment. We've already recommended this cottage to our family and friends, and we'd love to stay here again on future trips to Siesta Key.
