We go above and beyond the industry standard for cleanings with our multi-tiered cleaning protocol. We have improved and strengthened our cleaning crews by mandating the highest quality products that are EPA approved to use against COVID-19. Our cleaners also have a longer period of time to complete this thorough process to ensure a full cleaning of all items. After this initial cleaning, we require the cleaning company manager to assess the job completed and assign any additional areas to be cleaned. Furthermore, right before your arrival, we have a quality control team that conducts a 50-point pre arrival inspection on this home and reapplies the approved products once again right before your walk into your beautiful home. We extensively re-clean every light switch, lamp, door knob, surface, remote, hard back chair, and any area that is considered a high volume touch surface with approved disinfectant cleaning material. This allows you to vacation worry free regarding the cleanliness of your home and truly relax as soon as you arrive. Our cleaning services have enhanced protocols in place to ensure that you feel tremendously safe and happy with this amazing home. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY / TRIP INSURANCE NOTICE: Regarding this reservation process, The Cottages on the Key Company is creating a legal, binding contract between the property owner and the guests to insure the desired benefits to each of the parties. The Cancellation Policy for prime season rentals [December – April, June-August] stipulates that any rental deposit amount and any additional payments made are refundable less any administrative fees up to ninety [90] days prior to the beginning of the rental period. After 90 days prior to the rental period, the Licensor shall have the uncontested right to retain the initial Deposit and any other payments received. If you cancel and your check-in date is more than ninety [90] days away, you will receive a refund of your deposit less the administrative fee by credit card refund within 15 days of your written cancellation notice. The Cancellation Policy for all other reservations in the periods of September – November, and May stipulates that any rental deposit amount and any payments are refundable less any administrative fees up to seven [7] days prior to the beginning of the rental period. After 7 days prior to the rental period, the Licensor shall have the uncontested right to retain the initial Deposit and any other payments received. The Cottages on the Key company strongly recommends purchasing a TRIP INSURANCE POLICY to insure recovery of your deposit/payments made and potentially retained by this Cancellation Policy to avoid loss during unforeseen circumstances. We recommend researching trip insurance companies online. We also offer an option of purchasing trip insurance at the time of your booking with The Cottages on the Key upon request. Guests may also purchase the trip insurance up to 24 hours prior to their arrival. Please note: there is an option for cancelling for any reason (CFAR) up to 20 days within the initial deposit date. Deposit Policy
Please sign online with digital signature. This agreement must be returned to us within 48 hours, as we cannot guarantee your requested dates without receipt of a signed rental agreement. In order to finalize your reservation, we require the initial deposit plus a credit card on file to cover any incidentals and negligent damages.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy a 5 night stay at Casita Sol, and wish we had booked the whole week! The Cottages are equipped with everything you could need from beach toys to cooking essentials. Everything was clean, conveniently located, well cared for, and truly inviting. On our way to Siesta Key, we were hit with a number of travel inconveniences (everything from bad weather to mechanical issues) that delayed our arrival dates and times, and Kenneth worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were able to enjoy every second of our vacation. I was truly impressed with how friendly, and easy the staff was to work with. They went out of their way to check on us after our arrival to make sure the accommodations were as expected, and simply to make sure we were settling in and enjoying ourselves. They also had a very sweet welcome gift waiting for us as well! We can't wait to book our next vacation to Siesta Key, and stay at the Cottages again!

We had a fantastic time. This Unit had everything we could have wanted or needed. Bikes, coolers, beach towels, beach cart, chairs, even sand toys for kids. The unit was very clean.We had a patio in front and in back with nice furniture and grills. A short walk and you where at the pool and just past that was the amazing beach.

This was definitely my favorite family vacation to date. The house had just about everything we needed, it was very clean, the management company was very professional and extremely courteous and really helped us feel like we were home. They had a booklet with all kinds of information about the house and what was nearby so it took us no time to get right down to enjoying the weekend festivities. The restaurants nearby were AMAZING!!! (The Tiki bar was definitely my favorite) The local shopping was great, too. The beach was perfect and downtown Sarasota wasn't a very long drive at all. We can't wait to come back next year!!!

If you are considering renting a condo for your trip to Siesta Key, don't. Rent Casita Sol. I'm not sure how spacious it is compared to nearby condos, but I can tell you that you won't get two awesome outdoor living spaces (front and back) when you rent a condo. The pool was literally steps away. You could barely be closer to private beach access unless you stayed on the beach. Having chairs and an umbrella to take refuge from the summer sun was incredible. The villa was equipped with everything you might need for basic cooking (they even have spices there!) and the restaurants on this end of the key were fabulous and we only ventured into the village once for an early morning breakfast. Although we had a rental car, we barely used it and just walked across the street to 7-11 for slurpees, Captain Curt's, Toasted Mango, etc. You have to go to A Taste of Germany for their famous rum cakes (and breakfast or lunch!). There is only one shower and I thought at first that might be a problem, but it never was. There is also an outdoor shower which is great to rinse off after the beach. Plenty of clothes lines to hang beach towels and wet suits and the washer/dryer is outdoors in a shed which means your villa won't get hot when doing laundry. There are also plenty of beach supplies in the shed - beach carts, chairs, etc. - but after our first trip to the beach we realized none of that was really necessary unless you have a lot of people going. We also loved that it seemed like everyone vacationing there that week was from Ohio!

It was absolutely paradise. When we arrived they had three cupcakes waiting for us on the counter . Everything was very clean and had plenty of towels and clean sheets. The outside was perfect, the pool was heated and very inviting after spending hours in the sun. We rode the two bikes provided most mornings. The cart for the beach easily fit the chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, and an extra beach bag. The grill worked well and was clean upon arrival. There was tons of places to eat at near by and a publix about ten minutes from the house. It wasn't giant but that was exactly what you wanted so we didn't have to spend much time cleaning. We were mostly out at the beach but when we would get back in the evening it was quite and peaceful. For the value you couldn't find a better place.
