"Siesta Key is our favorite vacation spot! The Cottages on the Key have provided us with the perfect place to stay! Our family (14 members) had a wonderful vacation staying in "Casa De Mariposa". The home is perfect for our family - perfect location, perfect space, perfect amenities, perfect swimming pool, perfect peace! We have stayed at this home twice and will continue to come back. The staff of the "Cottages on the Key" is very attentive and professional. They answer a call 24/7 and the response is immediate. We highly recommend this vacation home!

A very blessed family vacation

"15 members from our extended family enjoyed a relaxing week at Casa de Mariposa. There was plenty of room for us all, ample kitchen supplies, clean living and sleeping space, and wonderful staff to work with. We enjoyed an easy walk to the beach several times a day and the close proximity to the main village for dinner, mini donuts, shopping, and ice cream. We used the provided bikes daily. The pool, although small, worked for our teenagers and adults and was a nice, warm temperature even in December. Thank you for providing the space for wonderful family members. Blessings to all!

"Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Siesta Key and the Mariposa rental. Great spot for a family vacation and my Mom's birthday. Jennifer was very helpful throughout the booking process and following up to make sure we had everything needed for a great stay. Fabiana is a wonderful guest services coordinator. She had a birthday surprise waiting for us when we checked in (champagne, balloons, and cupcakes). Thank you Cottages on the Key!

"Case de Mariposa was perfect! Right across from the beach and about a mile/10-15 minute walk to the village. The property itself was beautiful. Updated, clean and spacious. They provided everything we needed. Beach towels, chairs, bikes and even a wagon. Pots, pans grilling utensils. You name it. It was the perfect place for our multi family vacation!

"This house is the perfect place to get away from it all. the house is well stocked with everything you will need from beach towels and umbrella's to the utensils in the kitchen. There was a group of 12 adults and everything went great! We would have breakfast then hit the beach for a while. When the sun got to beating down we would return to the house and jump in the pool, It was great. We plan on returning to the same property next year. It is only a 15 minute walk to the village from here or you can catch the free shuttle at the corner just outside the house. Great Place for a group or large family to stay!

"The Casa De Mariposa was perfect for our family. Everyone loved the location. The pool area was very nice (except the furniture was very uncomfortable). Whatever we needed was furnished. Upon arrival the elevator was not working in one side but the repairman came immediately and fixed it. We would have loved having a door between the two units because the up and down the stairs to be together got a little old. But all in all it was a great place for a large group and met all our expectations and more. May return

"This home was perfect for our family of 12. It is equipped with everything we needed and is extremely comfortable. We love the close proximity to the beach and our grandchildren loved swimming in the pool each day. The outdoor space by the pool was perfect for our family lunches and dinners. We also enjoyed a nice bike ride to the village in the evenings. We love to vacation in Siesta Key and this home is the perfect vacation home. Although we didn't have a need for help from the staff, they were attentive and available for anything we may have needed. I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

Fabulous beach house

"We loved everything about this house. 4 adults plus 4 teenagers but we had loads of space. One minute to the beach, five minutes to the cute shops and restaurants. We took advantage of the bikes, beach umbrellas and the beach chairs. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed for a wide range of meals. We would definitely come back.

"My son was married at the Mote Marine Lab in October and we needed a rental for our 4 children and their significant others as well as a place for the family to gather as this was a destination wedding. Casa De Mariposa was a perfect fit. The home was fabulous. Modern, decorated beautifully, clean and everything worked as promised. The elevator was a bonus. The pool area was perfect with gas grills and an amazing pool. Access to the beach was across the street. I highly recommend this property as an upscale vacation rental. 5 Stars
